This comprehensive editorial package is for writers who want support from brainstorming to publication. Whether you are outlining a single piece or an ongoing series, we’ll start with the big picture and dig into the finer details. 

Keeping it Real ✌️

In the spirit of transparency, here is what I do not do:

• Marketing and Platform Optimization: If you’re seeking branding advice, marketing advice or platform optimization, I recommend reaching out to a specialist. My focus is on helping you write clearly and concisely while maintaining your voice. 

Recipe Testing: If you're a food blogger, I will always advocate for using a food scale with weighted measurements (I know from personal experience, and I've watched every season of The Great British Baking Show!). Unfortunately, I do not have the time or resources to test recipes, but I can help make your writing sharp and your instructions clear. (Sharp as a knife? Clear as a broth? No. I'll see myself out.)

This package is for high school students (juniors and seniors) and university students writing essays for classes and applications. It covers short papers (up to 5 pages, double-spaced) and medium papers (up to 15 pages, double-spaced). Please see the Academic and Research package for long papers (starting at 15 pages, double-spaced).

Whether you’re  untangling an idea, clarifying your argument, organizing your thoughts on the page, or overthinking every sentence, this package offers focused support where it is needed. If additional assistance is required, The Deep Dive may better address your needs.

The Deep Dive 🔍

This option is for writers who want editorial support throughout the writing process from brainstorming to polishing the final draft. We will work together through each draft to build strong, clear, and well-structured writing. 

Keeping it Real ✌️

In the spirit of transparency, I want to acknowledge my scope:

• Résumés: I do not do résumés. I cannot provide anything unique or beyond what high school guidance counselors and university career centers typically offer.

• Citation Style: I am most familiar with MLA. If your paper requires APA, Chicago, or another citation style, I can direct you to guides and resources..

STEM and Technical Writing:I do not edit technical writing for the natural sciences, mathematics, and STEM fields unless these subjects are addressing broader cultural, social, and ethical issues. For structural or clarity-focused editing, I may still be a good fit.

This package is for fiction and creative nonfiction writers. (If you are working on academic or research-based nonfiction, please see the academic and research package.)

The Deep Dive 🔍

A comprehensive editorial experience where we start with the big picture and work our way down to the details. We can begin at any stage of the writing process, whether you are brainstorming or have completed a few drafts. 

For fiction writers, I offer the additional deep-dive services:

Line-by-line edits are available on a case-by-case basis, depending on the project and editorial fit. 

Keeping it Real ✌️

Full disclosure, here's a few things I don't offer: 

• Finance and Math: If you are writing about personal finance or math for a general audience, I can help with accessibility and clarity. However, if your project requires technical expertise beyond lay-level comprehension, I may not be the right editor for you. 

• Genres I Don’t Work On: I don’t read crime, horror, or romance, so I wouldn’t be the best editorial fit for those genres. While I enjoy reading poetry occasionally, it’s a craft that deserves an editor deeply immersed in it.   

• AI-Generated Content: I do not work on AI-generated content. 

This package is for students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate), researchers, and academics working on coursework, research papers, or other academic writing projects. It is best suited for medium to long-form work (starting at 15 pages, double-spaced). For shorter academic writing, please see the Essays and Applications package.

This option is for when your draft is nearly complete and needs a final review. I will check whether you've answered the assignment prompt or supported your thesis statement. I'll also flag any unclear points, suggest grammar edits, and quickly check the formatting and citations.

Whether it's argument formation, structure, or something that feels off, I'll help you identify the issue and provide targeted feedback to help you move forward. If additional assistance is required, The Deep Dive may better address your needs.

This package is for writers seeking editorial support throughout the writing process. Whether you're brainstorming or deep into revisions, I'll help you clarify your argument, strengthen your structure, and suggest improvements to enhance flow. We'll start with the big picture and work our way down to the details.

In the spirit of transparency, here are my limitations: 

• Citation Style: I am most familiar with MLA. For APA, Chicago, or other citation styles, I am happy to direct you to external resources and tools. 

• STEM and Technical Writing: I do not edit technical writing for the natural sciences, mathematics, and STEM fields unless these subjects are addressing broader cultural, social, and ethical issues. I may be a good fit for structural or clarity-focused editing. 

• Capstone, Thesis, and Dissertations: If your project is especially high-stakes, such as a capstone project, thesis, or dissertation, I kindly request that you not have me as your sole editor. It protects both your work and my role supporting it. Additional editors, especially those in your field or at your institution, can offer valuable insights that will enrich your final submission.
